Does my dog need to be vaccinated to attend a play session?

Yes, all dogs must be up to date on their vaccinations and must not attend if they have had the kennel cough vaccine in the last 2 weeks. Proof of vaccination is required before your dog’s first visit to any breed meet.

Do you accept puppies?

Yes, we accept puppies who are at least 16 weeks old, fully vaccinated and in good health.

Does my dog need to be spayed or neutered?

For breed meets, yes male dogs over 9 months old must be neutered, while female dogs must not attend if in season. For private hires, intact males can attend, however it is up to the owners to ensure no females are in season and all dogs attending get on well.

What is there for my dog to play with?

The 24m polytunnel has a large ball pit and a smaller one for our shorter legged friends, a slide, tug of war toys and climbing frames, while the 30m outdoors area has a sand pit, plus more tug of war toys and climbing frames. There’s loads of space for zoomies, while the humans can relax at one of our two chunky picnic tables, nestled at either end of the outside area under its own pergola.

Can we bring our kids along too?

Of course! Children must be supervised at all times though and not harass or scare any dogs attending. Please don’t let them climb over the walls of the polytunnel decking area. Parents will be held liable for any damage caused.

Is the site secure / escape proof?

Yes, the outside area has 7ft mesh fencing as well as dig proof fencing. Please let us know in advance if your dog is skilled at jumping, so we can ensure the front door of the polytunnel is closed for extra security.

Is there anywhere to keep dry if it rains?

Yes, our 24m polytunnel! There’s no need for play sessions to be cancelled due to the weather, everyone can stay dry in the polytunnel, plus there’s a pergola with picnic table either side of the 30m outdoor area to provide shelter from rain or sun. There’s no grass too, so no muddy paws or wet jeans / shoes!

I want to bring my dog to a breed meet but they’re very nervous.
Will it be safe?

We have a number of nervous dogs attend breed meets, some of them surprised their owners and were soon running around with their new bestie, while others take things a little slower. We go at the dog’s pace, and nothing will be forced on them. The outside area can be split into three separate sections, so if your dog needs some space alone, it’s there for them. The polytunnel also has a number of areas that can be sectioned off. The owner is on hand to oversee breed meets and will be happy to help you and your dog at any time.

 Do you do grooming?
 Do you do day care?

Not yet, but we hope to in the near future! We will be applying for our day care license as soon as possible. Keep an eye on our social media platforms for updates!

How many dogs / humans can attend a private hire?

You can bring up to ten dogs, plus their owners and friends / family members.

How much does it cost for a private hire / breed meet?
How can I find out what breed meets are on?
 Do you do birthday parties?

Yes we do! We’ve teamed up with The Barking Bakery to offer a birthday package where, for an additional fee, the birthday boy / girl will receive one of their yoghurt topped party cakes along with 10 bags of their cheesey pupcorn bags for guests. The venue will also be decked out with bunting and birthday banners both inside the polytunnel and the outside play area.
